PASTORS
Dr. Linwood Earl Keys was born November 28, 1955, in Middlesex County, Virginia, to the (late) James and Virginia Keys. In 1969, Dr. Keys and his six siblings moved from New Jersey to Richmond, Virginia with his uncle and aunt, Dollie and James Burrell Sr., who reared them according to Proverbs 22:6.
In his youth, Dr. Keys gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and became a member of the True Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, currently known as the Temple of Judah Ministries. Dr. Keys served in the youth department (A.B.Y.P.U), music ministry, and men’s fellowship.

In 1977, at the age of 22, Dr. Keys accepted the call to ministry. Dr. Keys developed leadership skills, became a skilled musician, and served in a variety of ministerial capacities which prepared him to teach and preach the Word of God and care for God’s people. Dr. Keys has served as an Associate Pastor, Minister of Music, and Ministry Director. Dr. Keys has dedicated his life to improving the lives of those in the community. He spearheaded a Community Food Distribution program and served on the Executive Advisory Board for the Central Virginia Food Bank.

Dr. Keys has always been and continues to be intrigued by the word of God. It is the impetus and stimulant for his life, always looking to the word for guidance, direction, and strength. Dr. Keys was educated in the public school system and continued his education by completing courses at the Virginia Union University Evan Smith program. Dr. Keys earned a Bachelor’s of Theology, Master’s of Theology, Master’s of Sacred Studies, Doctorate of Sacred Studies, and Doctorate of Theology from the Christian Life School of Theology. Learning is a lifetime pursuit that Dr. Keys continues to this day.

Dr. Keys married Lady Carolyn Scott Keys in 1989. Through their union, they have four children, Reginald Taylor, Elder Terrence D. Keys, Shante S. Keys, and Joy Ward, and eight beautiful grandchildren.
