CHURCH HISTORY
God birthed the Vision of Endtime Tabernacle in the Spirit of Evangelist Octavia DePriest, the mother of thirteen children in the 1960’s. She pondered these things in her heart until January 1986 when she decided to talk with her family about building a Church for God. In 1991, We broke ground at 238 Twin Pine Road, Sandston, VA, supported by Family and Friend’s Seed offerings and donations.
God used Evangelist Octavia DePriest to preach the Word and hold services in her home to minister deliverance, healing and hope to all those who attended from near and far. Evangelist Octavia DePriest was often found ministering to the sick and oppressed throughtout her life.
On August 4th 1995, she was called home to be the Lord. On October 29, 1995, Endtime Tabernacle held its first Worship Service. The Vision was fulfilled even though our founder never saw the completed work. Her legacy remains as a “House for God".
The Vision for Endtime Tabernacle has been kept alive under the Leadership of the Late Bishop James Flannagan, Jr. and Dr. Jean Flannagan for 24 years. In 2019, Dr. Angela Williams was installed as pastor. Through her guidance, the church advanced through innovation, technology and training.
On May 2, 2021, Dr. Linwood and Carolyn Keys were installed as Co-pastors to further the vision. Dr. Keys, with Carolyn alongside, petition the Holy Spirit daily to guide their hearts, meet the challenges, and provide the vision for Endtime Tabernacle to move forward. We are people and Pastor working together to diligently ascertain and bring to fruition the will of God.
